    Looks good. Nothing like making it yourself. I would suggest a few things though. Maybe add a second 1"x1" box on the inside to make them larger. MM connectors are 1.5" x 2", a single 1"x1" seems a little small. Close the ends off or they will rust out from inside and add an angle bracket...

    I bought my 92 GT last year for $2400. All it needed was cleaned and polished and a new front sway bar link ($8). 138K miles, it runs great and had new tires on the Ponys. Keep looking they are out there. Here it is with a few mods.

    Did it stick to your magnetic drain plug because its magnetic or because the oil made it stick to it? There are no ferrous metals that are flexible. Try sticking it to a magnet now that its clean.

    If it's flexible, it's probably just a blob of RTV silicone or gasket sealer that oozed off a gasket and fell into the pan. Nothing to worry about.

    Have a couple of crush sleeves on hand, cause if your like me you will inevitably overtighten at least one of them. Check you bearing condition when your in there. My 23 tooth speedo gear made my speedometer almost spot on.
