Underdrive pulleys...convince me that they work.

I look at it this way, each little increase adds up to a lot. Pulleys 3-5 hp, K&N air with silencer removal 3-5 hp, increase timing to 14 degrees 3-5 hp, shorty headers 5-10 hp, synthetic oil in engine, trans and diff 3-5 hp. Pretty soon you have an increase of 17 to 30 more hp. each one...

Help me get rid of "rake" look with frpp "C" springs

I cut a rear set of C springs a few years ago. Don't worry about the flat spot on the end of the spring. Just cut 1/2 coil, see where it sits. If it's still too high, cut another 1/2 coil.

    95 spindles

I just used three 5/8" SAE washers. The SAE washers are thicker and have a smaller outside diameter that clears the strut bottom better.

Where to buy bolt and dowel kit?

Don't know about the kit, but you can go to the dealer and buy the bolts and pins separately. I did a couple of months ago. They are the same all the way through 04 with the 10.5" clutch.

    white foam

Get some antifreeze in that water, just because your not driving it dosen't mean it's not corroding your cooling system. Your headgasket are probably fine.

Hmmm... It actually looks a lot like the Mercedes. I wouldn't have guessed it started as a Mustang.

    Good welder for $300-400?

Start with the Lincoln Weld Pac 100 wire feed welder for $350 from Sears. Then later add the gas regulator for about $80 to full MIG. That's what I did (not from Sears though). It welds anything from subframe connectors to sheetmetal to trailor hitches to exhaust. One of the best things...

missing oil slinger on 8.8 rebuild...?

I believe it keeps excessive oil away from the seal to help prevent leaks. There's also one on the crankshaft.

Did you put straight water in the cooling system or did you use antifreeze. Aluminum will corrode, if it's just water it could be leaking around the thermostat housing and corroding the aluminum.
