    Camaro owners.......

It's the lifted pickup trucks that challenge me. I get far more challenges from trucks then I do ricers and other muscle cars. Based on some of the guys I know, it's usually the hell raisers that drive big jacked up trucks so it doesn't suprise me. If you lived in the south you wouldn't be...

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Installed

Wow, that's a nice gain all the way through the power band. :nice: I believe Doug from bamachips has said that he has gotten a gain across the boards as well. Look at the difference in torque after it peaks. Peak numbers don't tell the whole story. Thanks for the graph, I've been...

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Installed

With your mods those would be decent numbers even on a dynojet. Now you need some LT's to get the most out of your cams.

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Installed

I've personally talked to Tim @ MPH in Atlanta and he told me that other shops that he'd talked to personally told him they had been getting around 25 rwhp with the FRPP cams on stock motors. He hasn't installed any himself though. How much you get will depend on other stuff like CMDP's...

What is it with civic owners???

Yea, I've kind of learned that lesson before as well. If you want to flex your muscles, it's best to give them a full dose in the high RPM's, otherwise your selling your car short.

    FRPP Hot Rod Cams Installed

MikeysOTP, so what are your final numbers? Do you have a before and after graph? I'll bet your car has a lot more torque at 6200 than before the cams, I'd be interested in seeing that. MylocalDJ, you should have your car checked on another Dyno, your numbers look low for your mods. Your...

    I'M NEW & WANT A STANG

Just find yourself a gt500 for $50 grand and throw a KB blower on it and your close to your 1,000 hp car (about 800 RWHP) for a hell of a lot less than a 600 hp viper or 700 hp roush.

    Camaro owners.......

Yea, goes with the territory. You get a lot of unwanted attention in these cars. I'm still amazed at how much I get in this 06 GT, never got it in my 98 GT. Everybody and their brother wants to race me. I get revved at, ricer fly by's, and the ever popular burnout requests from total...

Best oil for my new toy?

Cool. Thanks everyone, I'll go with either mobil 1 or RP my next oil change.

Best oil for my new toy?

So how often should you change your oil and filter if your using Mobil 1 and a motorcraft filter? Also, how many quarts is everyone using? I use 6 even although the shop always tries to put 6.5 quarts in. My car is over 2 years old but I have less than 17,000 miles on it, is it to late to...

$2000. Save it or use it?

I wouldn't waste it on LT's unless you want them for sound. With that amount of money you can do gears, driveshaft, UD pullies, and a custom dyno tune and still have enough left to throw in a CAI. But I'm not sure if the SGT needs one.

Oh my DEAR GOD WTF is this !

Just think, not only is somebody going to buy and drive that thing, but their going to pay out the ass for it. I've seen brand new sixer's sitting on dealer's lots with body kits that carried a sticker around $30,000. That's about $3,000 higher than a base GT coupe with leather sitting on...

    just wanna share some pics...

GTS makes fog light black out covers for the s197 GT To the OP, very stealthy looking car, I like it.

Oh my DEAR GOD WTF is this !

The car must have been on "pimp my ride" Yo, that s*** is phat.

Getting rid of the big ass

Everybody is always talking about the fat ass, but when you compare the s197 to the sn95 it's actually the entire car. For some reason Ford gave the s197 a higher waist line (higher sides, less roof). That's what gives it a fat look. The fat ass is just the end result of having less roof...

400 HP AT THE WHEELS ALL MOTOR,"YES"!!

As you say, to each his own but I'm just throwing out some food for thought. 401 rwhp out of a 298 is probably going to feel like a dog in the lower rpm's. That's something to think about if your car isn't a track only car. The other thing is that the 3v 4.6 is rated at 300 hp but is...

    Dumb to buy Smart?

400 HP AT THE WHEELS ALL MOTOR,"YES"!!

Might as well just wait for the 400 hp 5.0 and buy a new car if you have to have all motor. I'd feel like s*** if I spent that much money building up my 281 and then got spanked by a stock 2011 GT with a factory warranty.

Got my car dyno tuned by Doug (BamaChips)

That's a big power gain at 3700, whats your numbers at that RPM. Just curious how they compare to mine. Nevermind, just saw your graph at the top.
