    I bought my Magnums from CJ Pony as well. I got the tires from Costco including mounting and balancing. They have a $10 lifetime mount and balance/flat repair deal, per tire it is about $100 out the door. Mine were 14's, but the size was 235/60/14.

    Why should I replace my freeze plugs?

    You don't say whether the engine is out or not. If the engine is out--no question about it just change them as it is easy and they are cheap. Changing them "in the car" if they start leaking or rusted out is brutal--I did it once and should have just pulled the engine.

    Mine is made from 2"x2" steel tubing. The mounting points are the lower control arm bolts (Front) and the front spring eye (rear). Works great.

    Heater Control Valve--which hose?

    One of my Christmas presents answered my question for me. According to the 1969 shop manual, all the V8's show the control valve in the hose from the intake/top of the block to the heater core, not in the line from the water pump. FYI to anyone who cares.
