    Tips for changing steering gear on '72

    Just FYI, I ended up rebuilding my idler arm as the ones I found at local parts stores were not correct. I found a place locally that sold the bushings needed to rebuild my idler arm for my 73. The pitman arm puller was the only way to get it off--that was a lot more work than I expected!!!

    Could the front end accident car be repaired using new panels and straightening of existing structure? That would be better than cutting 2 cars in half, but would need to see what you are working with to make that decision. Post several pictures of the front end hit so we can see it.

I sanded off the anodizing on the roof rails and polished them, but there are too many curves and sculpted lines on the other moldings to even try.     Question #1: Both of my Clevelands do the exact same thing on hot starts. Cooling down a while and they start fine. I am getting ready to put on new cables and re-check the timing. Looking forward to other replies.

    Rear Door Glass Weatherstrip Replacement 71-73

    Has anyone successfully changed the verticle weatherstrip on the rear edge of the door glass on a 71-73? I looked at the ones on my fastback and if one wasn't damaged wouldn't even attempt it, but one does need replacement. I can't see any way to get the old one out let alone squeeze a new one...

    I am putting some finishing touches on my 73 and can't remember where the tire pressure sticker goes. I know it goes in the passenger door jamb, but does it go on the door or on the quarter? I almost feel silly asking such a simple question.... :p
