    What supercharger do I have??

I did a yahoo search and found this on corral forums. Granted it's someone trying to sell their unit back in '09 but he does explain to some degree what it is and probably what you have. And where he says discounted, I think he meant to say discontinued. FS: SVO/FRPP/ROUSH Supercharger **VERY...

    how come..

I have a 2010 SS Camaro and a GT, granted my GT is a '99 and not the new 2011 GT, and I can say I love them both equally but for totally different reasons. A friend of mine said I was an enigma. I said why? She said how can you have a camaro and mustang in the same garage? I said that was easy...

Tax Time Thread... What are you doing?

Nope...Not the style the dealer had put on the car, really wasn't the right style for Bumbles. but I looked past that becuase I saw the potential.

Tax Time Thread... What are you doing?

Going to have the 4x4 look no matter what size wheels/tires you put on it :nonono:, so probably still gonna need lowering. Mine had 20's when I bought it but wasn't lowered and looked stupid. But I knew I was going to be working on it to get it right, so I lowered it and it looked ok, but I...

Tax Time Thread... What are you doing?

Gonna pay off some bills, that'll free up some montly payment $$ to by a scanner and sub-frames and maybe some MM caster/camber plates.

    Clutch Issues

I have a similar issue with 3rd gear in my 2000 ZX2. IMHO I would lean towards bad syncros, that's what I've been told is the problem in my escort. My .02 :) Check the easy stuff first with the clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing etc...

    Serpentine Belt: When to Replace?

I saw on one of the saturday/sunday morning car shows, they had a belt that appeared to be ok visually. They had some sort of plastic gauge that fit in the groove of the belt. It was basically a good/no-good type of tool. I just found it doing a search, it's made by Gates, and it's...

Who runs Royal Purple Syncromax in their 3650?

A couple of yrs ago I had a built up motor in an Integra and used RP. I was not impressed, and I gave RP another chance last year in the rear end of my 'stang and shortly afterwards I had some bearings go out. So I will never us any RP product.

Throttle body & upper plenum . worth it?

I'm just getting stir crazy/cabin fever. I haven't seen so many grey dreary days since I lived in the NE. Want to get out of the house and do outside stuff, whether it's work in the garden, play with the cars, or even cutting the grass. :spot:

    Stock Subwoofers stopped workin

My speakers were shot, so took everything out and started over. I still have both amps just sitting in the garage. If anyone needs 'em, $20 + shipping.

Throttle body & upper plenum . worth it?

Yeah, the warmer weather can't get here quick enough. Even down here in N. Carolina ;)

Looking for opinions on these FR500's

IMO, all black rims only look good with certain car color combinations. Your yellow 'stang would be cool with those. :nice:
  13. nancygrl

So when do you make that decision????

I'd keep it, because if you did sell the 'stang, you'd probably regret it fairly quickly, been there done that! Well, if you take any vehicle out on the road stuff can potentially happen, whether or not you're going to work, or for a nice summer drive, it's unavoidable and not worth getting...

CAI's with aftermarket TB's. Fitment Question.

LTNS, with a bigger TB might have more air than expected, that might cause an issue, idk? I did read a post a while back where someone said if you're not doing cams then there was no benefit to upgrading to a bigger plenum and/or TB. Don't know how true that is.

    1999 mach radio amp bypass

I hate electrical problems because it can be so many things to drain a battery. Yeah, $300 to install a amp bypass and cheap radio is a complete rip-off. :nono: I ditched the Mach 460 and put together a killer system for @ $600, did the work myself and saved a bunch of $$ in labor.

    1999 mach radio amp bypass

If you have original '99 stuff, then your paper speakers are 12 yrs old. IMHO that's probably what is shot. I'm pretty sure that the Mach systems' speakers were impedance matched to the amps, and the speakers were an odd-ball impedance to boot. If you get a new radio from Crutchfield you get...

Mach 460 rear speaker and amp panel

I didn't have all the $ all at once either, when I wanted to ditch my '99 GT Mach 460. But I knew what I wanted and purchased everything piece by piece. Got everything lowest cost, free shipping or low shipping from various sources. Once I had all the parts/pieces, I tore into the project. Just...

    '00 GT Head gasket ?s

If your car still has the intake with the plastic crossover, then this sounds exactly what happened when I had my 96 GT. It had the plastic crossover and was spraying the back of the alternator and then all over the place. Never seen such a mess. +1 on getting the compression test done also...

    Newb with piston/rod replacement Q

You could try it, but I wouldn't attempt it. Like Trinity mentioned, I'd pull the head to make sure that everything is ok there. With the head pulled, pop in the new rod/piston and you won't have to reinstall the crank and all the other rod ends, mains, etc. that go along with that.
