    That is strange. You need a stock '85-'93 bracket. Heck even my '82 had the same rounded bracket as my '87 does. I have never seen that bracket you have on a fox before. :shrug:

    Best money spent on an AOD is a nice big cooler such as B&M makes. Get one of those before any performance mods to the AOD and you will be much happier. Also check out Click Click Racing for alot of AOD info.

    A good stacked plate cooler kit is under a hundred dollars and you mount it to your A/C condensor if you still have A/C and to your radiator if not. Best investment you can make for an AOD.

    LOL Yeah I set myself up fpr that one, but I agree on the cooler. I have my fluid routed through the stock coole rin the radiator then into a B&M cooler. In my opinion an aftermarket cooler is a MUST for the AOD.

    This something I am wanting to get around to dong as well. My heater core is bypassed and I have no desire to replace it since I don't drive the car in sub 60 degree temps anyway. I just dread wrestling the heater core piping out. Do you have to remove the upper intake to get it off?

    I have had 3 t-5 fox bodies and one AOD fox body. The AOD is the only one still around. I prefer an auto any day of the week. My AOD with 4:10's out back feels like someone just rearended you when it hits second and third gear. I LOVE that feeling!
