    N/A or Blown?

natrurally aspirated will be hard to do that. But any blower kit and you can easily do it. Why would you want an Edelbrock supercharger? There are other choices that are more proven. Saleen is also at issue beacuse of their warranty. I would look at Kenne Bell, Whipple and Techco if it was me...

    Nitrous'ed SC Mustang GT

You could use any nitrous kit. why wouldnt you be able to? You mount a tank, run some lines, tap the fuels system if it is a wet kit, mount some solenoids and install the nozzle in your intake. You could use a Zex kit, NOS, Edlebrock or Nitrous Express. I would keep it to a 75 shot unless you...

Needed, Roll Bar Kit For 08 Mustang HT

I think the poster was looking for a bolt-in in rollbar rather than a custom 10-point cage. Agent 47 also has a bolt-in rollbar I saw ina magazine but it isnt NHRA legal if I recall. Try calling Agent 47 and ask about their kit. It was pretty expensive I think.

Needed, Roll Bar Kit For 08 Mustang HT

It will not be legal as a bolt in unless it has the 6" plates that are welded to the feet of the rollbar and the Autopower doesnt have those. I havnet seen the maximum Motorsports rollbar but the HNRA rules are very clear about the 6" x 6" x 1/4" plates required when using bolts to attach the...

Needed, Roll Bar Kit For 08 Mustang HT

Is the Spohn kit a bolt-in kit or a weld in kit? I havent seen it but the other kits I saw were weld in. He is looking for a bolt-in kit I believe.

Needed, Roll Bar Kit For 08 Mustang HT

You can have a bolt in rollbar for IHRA/NHRA. However, it requires that you use 6" x 6" x 1/4" steel plates on the top and botton of the mounting point. It also requires you use minimum of four 3/8" bolts to secure these 6" plates to the floorpan.. There are three issues with meeting these...

    C&L intake manifold

2 hp gain with a loss of torque was what one person had as a result. Oh and that was with the FRRP throttle body. When they took that off and put the OEM one on they lost 4 HP.

    helping 0-60 auto time w gears/CAI/tune

I run a 2800 stall and 3.73. My 0-60 MPH time is 2.9 seconds. High stalls dont really affect you unless you are going full throttle from a dead stop. They may give a little slip at partial throttle but not too noticable.

    Ignition Coils?

I have run MSD and two types of GMS COPs. They all worked better than the OEM coils. I was getting spark blow out at 8-10 PSI with the OEM COPs. I added the HT0 plugs and gapped them to .030 but still got some spark blow out ona hard pull. I switched to high voltage coils and they immedialtely...

Kooks LT Headers - Self Install Thoughts

Emay, That is good to hear because I want to do my install myself. Have you installed both size kooks and if you have can you get away without pulling the starter on the 1 3/4" headers. Same with the steering shaft?

Kooks LT Headers - Self Install Thoughts

Yes they make a catted H-pipe in 2.5" that mates to their 1 5/8" long tube headers with 2.5" collectors. However Kooks makes 1 3/4" headers with 3 " collectors for higher horsepower applications. You can only get a catted X-pipe from Kooks in the 3" diameter size mid-pipe. So if you want the...

Kooks LT Headers - Self Install Thoughts

I am installing Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes and Kooks hi-flo catted 3" X-Pipe. They dont make the catted H-pipe for the 3" collector long tubes, so I had to go with the X-pipe. I have scoped out the job and am anticipating a long weekend install including Prothane motor mounts. I aksed Sutton for...

    rollbar

That appears to be a custom maade 8 or ten point cage. You can take the picture to any chassis shop and get it fabricated. I had my six point fabricated in chrome moly for 2400 and it looks way better that that monstrosity. I dont like the way they did the rear braces at all.

    what oil are you running?

I use RP 5/20 and Motorcraft filter. The Ford dealer I bought the car from recommends Royal purple oil for all S/C and turbo applications they service.
