    There is no need to do this at all. If you're running a standalone computer, it will have no problems running a large injector for a very short pulsewidth time. As long as it's tuned properly, it should pass emissions with flying colors. -John

    Make sure you buy one with 4 wheels, not 3. A lot of the cheaper ones only have 1 wheel in the front and they get a little tipsy sometimes with a longblock on it. -John

    Well, the brakes ARE inboard, but that also reduces unsprung weight significantly which would make the car handle better. Secondly, the rear is basically a Dana 44. Lots of rock crawler jeeps use them, so I'm sure they can take a lot of torque. I'm just not sure if they can handle...

    Just like the title says. I'm starting to get ideas for my '67. My dad has a Jag rear out of an XJ6 that he's going to give me. I'll have to put an LSD in it, but my main concern is whether or not it'll hold up to 6-700hp. I don't plan on drag racing it more than once or twice.

    Correct. You could put out a match, blowtorch, etc with gasoline. But it has to be pressurized.. :) It's the gas vapors that burn, not the liquid. -john
