Body work--looking to get an idea of cost

that one little spot could be pulled and straightened fairly easy. The paint won't quite match up, but a good painter can match faded paint fairly well...Not worth replacing a quarter skin for that little corner. Take it to a shop for an estimate....they are generally free.

165's or 185's would pry be best unless you plan on a BIG Stroker...205's are kinda overkill. Get a custom grind cam, for just a little more money than a "shelf" cam, and pick an intake. Edelbrock seems to be the most popular it seems. Could always add a blower for $1000.00 on down the road!

Help identifying Engine and picking cam

Woot!! It appears I'm worrying for nothing. I have the 19lb injectors (a sign of the h.o.), and when I pulled the plate off the intake manifold it has H.O. Stamped on it....and just to be sure the Compute is the the EEC IV from the h.o. Speed densit is my only prob now, but megasquirt will...

Help identifying Engine and picking cam

**bump** anyone have any ideas? Been searching for an answer, but everything I see doesn't answer what the difference between an H.O. and a Non H.O. and what I would need to do to make it "compareble"

    Mob's project thread

I don't want to be negative or anything, and I know what it's like to lose your license for whatever reason, which means lose money too...but are you basically going back to where you started right now? Was gonna be a turbo, but now, just the stock motor, cam, and a different intake? When are...

Help identifying Engine and picking cam

Well I went and picked up my new hooptie finally. It was cheap enough I didn't really care that it did not have an H.O. motor in it. I think it's from a crown vic, but I'm not sure and I would hate to find out it's out of a truck lol. Anyways on the valve cover there is a sticker with 1K336AA...

Doing 5.0 swap in the Fox

You will need to swap over the Wiring Harness from whatever motor you plan on using...so If you plan on using the 87 motor, but get the mass air out of a 89-93 car, you would want to use the 89-93 wiring...if you use the 87 motor and keep speed density, then you will need the wiring harness out...
