    best thing for flushing is fresh fluid. personally i would just drop the pan and the convertor drain plug, that way your basically getting all new fluid anyways. ( i do this for a living.) going to a flush machine is mostly beneficial only when you can't drain the convertor.

    no such thing as an a4ld in a 5.0. it must be an aod. and out of 1000 trannies serviced one might be affected badly. clean fluid is NEVER a bad thing.

    a buddy of mine has a ysi renegade kit on his 393w. drivers side mount. gives you lots of intercooling options. so yes you can put a ysi on a 351 block. just don't plan on power steering.

    always do the chassis bracing first. let the suspension do the flexing, not the floorpan.

    if it's a cone type you throw it away once it starts slipping, there is no rebuilding them. eaton's use the same type coil spring arrangement, you may still be in luck.

    a 302 is 4942 cc. if you have any math skills, this means 4.9. they did it so it wouldn't be confused with the 300 six. much like how a 351 is actually a 352, it's called a 351 so it isn't confused with the completely different 352.

    he can't, it just looks like it has some mileage with the bit of sludge buildup. if it has even compression and oil pressure then drive it. if you plan on bottle feeding it or boost then keep pulling fasteners.
