    :shrug: I'm thinking that the FR500 and the new Cobra Jet is what we will call modern interpretations of the Cobra R. The FR500 are for the SCCA etc and the Cobra Jet for the NHRA gang. :DJMO

    JMO !!!! The Bullitt's will hold their value because it's a limited production specialty model. The '84-'85 SVO had 175 h.p/ 210 lb-ft and still had hop bars. The '85.5 got the flush headlights and 205 h.p./248 lb-ft and quadra-shocks. '86 SVO's had ECM changes and a lower rating 200 h.p./240...

    I'm ready for the engine to be in the mustang to bring it up to current competition levels. Don't get me wrong i love the 4.6liter 3v's but if i hear another LSX fan crowing about N/A power i'm going too scream.

    :Track: I like the new look, hopefully it will be as successful as the previous model. I was hoping for 550 + h.p. , but (540 h.p. 510 lb-ft) is still a step in the right direction. The 3.55:1 gear set is appreciated also for improved acceleration also.:D

    To answer the question about the cost of production, building small quantities of something that is not mass produced will always be more expensive. Releasing the 5.0L cammer for use in a mustang with millions of sales yearly would lower the cost significantly.
