If your under 20, forget getting a 2005 Mustang, even a V6 unless your rich.....

You might want to shop around... Allstate quotes me at $1600 semi-annual, whereas State Farm says $700 semi-annual. Uhhh...

Drove a 05 for 28 miles - and got paid for it!

Seriously, what's up with the fan boys here? It's a solid rear axle, which is just not going to work as well as a IRS... what do they expect? Was the car you drove optioned-out? Or was it a base model? Are we talking leather, auto, etc etc? I think you said Shaker 1000, right? Thanks...

Is anyone giving a reason why they think this will be the price? Like a source or something? Or are these guess-timates?

'05 Pics I KNOW you haven't seen yet...

I do have Cobra and GT pics, again I will email to someone who can host them. And that picture of the Cobra's plate is correct from my pictures, taken 1/10/04.

'05 Pics I KNOW you haven't seen yet...

Ok, I sent them to whoever PM'ed me. The first two aren't great (my friend is an engineer, not a photographer), but the last one is awesome - take a look at the license plate.

'05 Pics I KNOW you haven't seen yet...

The reason I know this is because they were taken by my friend when we went to the Detroit Auto show. The only problem is that I need a host, so if someone would PM me their email address? :)

    Mineral Gray

Oh, where it says mineral grey GT... whoops, sorry. Right there in front of me. Thanks anyway! That is a nice color... hmm.

    Mineral Gray

Where are those pictures be found on that website? I think that's the color I'll get too, after I decide I'm getting one for sure.

wtf is car and driver smoking

Which is why the Focus has made their Top Ten list, right? They're estimated numbers. If they're going by the numbers only, and rumors have come out that the horsepower is under-rated, so that might be a problem. I was also reading a post on here about how the stock 235mm width tires are...

    Pulling my preorder

$33,000 base MSRP for the 8-cylinder engine.

    Wheels and Tires

Realize that they have to appeal to the rest of the USA that gets snow... though even with that argument, I'd rather have wider rubber from the factory and buy a set of snow tires / wheels for the winter since 235 is less than optimal (though I haven't had too much of a problem on 225's)...

    Buy a V6 or V8???

Take it from someone who has been driving a '98 v6 Mustang for the past 5+ years - get the v8 if you're able to afford it. You'll void your warranty modifying a v6, and likely run into more problems running the car above spec. The current v6 is a lot more powerful than mine, but if you want...

    New '05 Pics

I hope you're right. I am so pumped to replace my '98 v6 with an '05 GT, I just hope that the interior lives up to the rest of the car. I already told my friend that when (if) I get one, after the engine is broken in I'm going to smoke his '04 s2000. :nice:

    New '05 Pics

I have to agree... the interior photos that were released by Ford look incredible. Those close-ups show huge gaps between the dashboard panels, umatched grey tones (radio, around radio, the verticle and horizontal portions of the center console), and ridiculous "Mustang" silkscreen logos on the...
