    Carb vs. EFI Tall Valve Covers

    So I found that my rockers are hitting the valve covers even though I was told by a mustang shop they would clear. I saw some tall one I like but said they were for carb. I was wondering what the difference between the carb valve covers and the efi ones.

    Vacuum Hose sizes

    Anybody know where I can find the sizes of the vacuum hoses in the engine bay. I want to replace them with silicone ones but no place around here sells silicone so I will have to order them. There are some listing on ebay but they want like 100-150. I have about 1/4 of the hose replaced...

    What next?

    The timing is set to 10 with the spout out and I did have a leak at the lower intake to head. I had to heli-coil the head (exhaust was getting cherry red) but all bolts torqued to 21 ft so I assume that it sealed.

    Speaking of tuning, will changing the rear end gears make a different in the tune. I know the gears don't effect horsepower or torque. I want to do a dyno and tune but I am going to change the gears and was wondering what the effect would be.

    I looked into it and you're right 75 is for just the dyno, the tuning was 350.

    Sorry, though my sig was on. Yeah I have TFS heads I bought used, guy said they just had 10k miles on them but don't know about that now. Exhaust was turning cherry red so when I went to check the lower for loose bolts had two spin on me so decided to go with the studs.

    I do mine three steps: 96 in/lbs 12 ft/lbs 15 ft/lbs just to be safe but I don't see doing it in one step as a problem. I recently had problem with the bolts tightening so I went to studs.

    Supercharger hp question

    Just to answer, I am running the stock cam and ignition right now, and there is a place two blocks down the street that tunes. :D When I do get the sc I will research into a cam and other parts. I was just worried about the tranny. It sounds like I should upgrade the tranny before I get the sc.

    I was thinking 300 at the flywheel. Also I was thinking the 350 hp rating for the AOD was at the flywheel.
