Your maf probably got water soaked. Where is your filter located? Try removing the maf and drying it out. Same exact thing happened to me a long time ago.
Don't forget that the 98 rear end is shorter from side to side by like 3/4" or so. You'll be able to see the diff. But it will fit. The 00 rear end has 3.27's for sure.

Pull the clutch switch down and push the plunger into the sensor and hold it in while trying to start it.
You just use a pulley puller to remove the power steering pulley, and then you can remove the black bracket. You can leave that bracket off. It's not needed. I just put a waterpump on my car and I was told the same thing.
I gained 30rwhp from the 207 cam alone.My #'s b-4 the cam were 186rwhp/208rwtq.Peak hp went from 5200 to 5900.I still had the stock headers.
I've since then added shorties and reinstalled my old o/r h. I noticed a definite gain from the headers.
none of those are very loud. if you want loud and obnoxious, get glasspacks and dump them. But if that's the case, you don't know anything about good sound.
