thinking of not selling it but need some inspiration/info

My opinion is to only have one project at a time. Get it on the road with as little work as possible. Then once you have finished your other come back to it and max it out. YEAH BABY!

Help me understand the difference between a DISAGREEMENT and an ARGUEMENT

Super Dave I agree with you. What I should have said instead of malice is maybe hatefulness. I like the fact that we have differing opinions. I also appreciate your experience and opinions. What I don't like is when someone is personally insulted because of their age or amount of income, when...

Help me understand the difference between a DISAGREEMENT and an ARGUEMENT

I would say an argument is a disagreement with malice. Disagreement can be healthly. After all we all have different opinions. That is a good thing or we would all drive green four door corolas

    newbie saying Hi

Welcome, A good donor car for disc brakes is a late 70's granada. It will also give you half of your 5 lug suspension if you go with a v8. A couple other things for that conversion you will need is bigger sway bars and heavier springs. good luck

302 engine swapped into a 67 coupe sixer?

Boostedpimp bottom line, it is your car if someone else dosen't like your taste, then that is their problem not yours. They won't be the one driving it you will. Build the car you want. I have had a lot of people tell me with their "conventional wisdom" things couldn't be done. I didn't listen...

    dumb Q but can you make a 289 into a 5.0?

I'm not trying to advertise for Mustangs Plus, But the easiest (maybe not the cheapest) way to do a 5.0 conversion is call mustangs plus. Ask them what to do and order any speciality parts. They have walked hundreds painlessly through it. including me. Thats my 2 cents anyway. Goodluck

    92 aod conversion

I looked in my new mustangs plus catalog that I got in the mail last week. On page 250 mid page there is a aod crossmember for a 67 to 70 for 129.95. The part number is 10044. I have run urathane mounts with good success, but don't remember where I got them. It may have been NPD.

    dumb Q but can you make a 289 into a 5.0?

You are absolutely right, I forgot the firing order is different. I shouldn't have though, I figured that one out the hard way. It is the same firing order as a 351 I think. You also have to fill hole in block from dipstick and use the oil pan off the 289.

    dumb Q but can you make a 289 into a 5.0?

changing from 289 to 5.0 isn't too hard. I did it in a 66. You will need to go with 50 oz. counter balance in your flywheel and harmonic balancer as compared to 28 oz. I put a edelbrock preformer intake and holley 600 4bbl. Then you don't have to mess with powering computer or changing wiring...

    Jeff Ford

Just wanted to set the record straight. I posted a thread back in January, asking about anyones feelings and or dealings with Jeff Ford from (mustang monthly, mustangs and fords, pony trails). I was a little perturbed about my conversation with him at Silver Springs. Some posted saying he was a...

My Dad bought a 67 shelby style hood from mustang depot and a rear shelby style deck lid from mustang depot. The hood needed very littlte work and fit great. The deck lid took a little more work but turned out great. You need to remember fiberglass parts will all need to be fit to finish. GOOD LUCK
