Anyone in Northern CT got some spare time?

First of I would drain and re-fill the tranny with some synthetic ATF again to get rid of the residual Gear oil. And as far as running like crap after a tune up, I would first double check the firing order to make sure they dont have a few wires mismatched. If that looks good, I would have a...

    Exhaust fitment issues

Mind did the same thing, after a spending some time adjusting it, i got it to fit perfectly now. Try adjusting the angle on the pipes that goes from the H pipe to the muffler. Thats where mine was off.

    Exhaust fitment issues

No welding necessary but ditch the clamps that come with the kit they break way to easy, especially if you have to tighten and re-adjust the system a few times and most likely you will have to in order to get it to fit right. Get some good HD clamps from autozone. I had some clearance issues...

Went to the track tonight. . . .

Your trap speed is way low, 90mph? Stock your car should be trapping mid 90's I think your car is having issues, and traction is not a major problem a 2.2 60' on drag radials is not that bad. Your losing power somewhere down the track and that would account for you low trap speed.

The Official Diet thread: Losing weight in your street Mustang

I don't know why you swapped out the IRS for a solid rear when you are building a road course car. The handling benefits of IRS far outweigh any weight savings over a solid rear. On a drag car I understand but for road racing?

My new painted interior with Carbon Fiber!!!

Not a fan of the dash only b/c you have too many colors going on there. You have the red and the CF and then you have the silver and then the orange needles on the guages. But, the doors look ok. The dash just has too much going on.

Dent : Can it be popped out?

PDR guys can work wonders, a good shop/guy will fix that no problem. Ive seen them fix worse. Its definitly worth a shot, there might be a slight risk of the paint chipping where the metal is creased but go to a good reputable shop.

Will our cars be a "collector car" anytime down the road?

New mustang will never have the value of a classic from the 60's and 70's for the simple reason that they make to many of them. If you have a clean low mileage 2002 stang in 10-20 years it will be worth alot more than blue book value at the time, but it won't reasch collector car status like an...

    throwout bearing question

Id be careful spraying the grease into the bellhousing. You don't want to get it on the clutch plate or you will have a whole new problem with chattering/slipping clutches.
