    Brake option for the 5.0

OK, here goes: 1) I do not believe the Brembo-equipped cars have any different suspension than any other 2011 GT. The 2011 GT's have the suspension that was the 2010 Track-Pak suspension. The only thing different about the Brembo cars (other than the brakes, of course) is a more "lenient"...

Watch out Europe... here comes the new 5.0 (M3 vs 5.0)

I've had the exact opposite experience. I've owned my 2001 BMW 330i for 10 years. Bought it new in 2000 and it has been the most long-term pleasurable car that I have ever driven. It does everything I've ever asked of it and it always fun yet has the manners to be very civilized. Aside from a...

Two options here: 1) Can easily be fixed with a tune 2) Mishimoto High-Performance Billet Aluminum Coffee Mug (designed to fit in the 2011 cup holders without spilling*) *only available with optional Brembo Package equipped Mustangs. Or the home remedy: Light coat of oil on the tires (no...

    Chrome bubble on wheel, warranty?

[The service manager took at look at two of my wheels. The 1st one he said he could get replaced no problem under warranty. The second had similar discoloration/chrome issues, BUT, since the wheel had a bit of curb damage (from previous owner) he said warranty would not cover that wheel...

    Cooling issues etc.

It does sound like your thermostat is sticking open. The radiator just keeps the coolant in the temp range that the thermostat dictates. With a properly functioning thermostat, if the radiator can't keep up, the car gets too warm. If the the radiator can keep up (and then some), the temps should...

    Walker dynamax good and bad

I've had both on my Mustang and would have to say the UltraFlow's are a bit louder (espescially at WOT) than the Super Turbos. If swapping them eliminated his annoying droning, then it seems like things worked out for the OP.

    shocks and springs?

Technically it's "they're eibach SPRINGS" and "if we're done being belligerent". :nice: Good luck with the springs, though...and relax a bit.

    Convertible top motor?

Yup. No warning whatsoever....at least that is how mine went a couple months ago. Not bad for a 17 year old motor, though. Replacement is pretty easy as well. I got a good deal from someone who sells them on Ebay. I can give you the info if you are interested (around $150 IIRC).

Question for all you fox guys.

Would depend on budget (honestly). My first Mustang was a fox and my current Mustang is a fox (both emerald green '92's). Guess it depends on what you want/need it for. Fox's are inexpensive, can be made very fast and are easy to work on. The new generation does pretty decently right...

sn95 Shocks and Struts on a lowered Foxbody??

I actually emailed MM asking that question (if that was only applicable to Bilsteins) and the tech responded that is was NOT. Response: "The article "Shock Recommendations: SN95 shocks on a Fox chassis" does apply to all brands, not just Bilstein. The shocks for the 1994-2004 Mustang will not...

400 Hp With A Stock Cam Question

If you plan on adding those heads and doing further mods, you might want to consider switching to a Mass Air set up (if you haven't already). To support those heads, a larger in-tank fuel pump would be a good idea along with at least 24lb injectors. Also, if you're going that route, look...

Sources Say Coyote is a Go

They're calling it "The Coyote", huh??? If Dodge can stay in business, that's almost begging them to release a new Road Runner (since Plymouth is no more). ;) I'd be happy to design it for them!:nice:

    Suspension Issue?

Typically, springs don't "wear". They may crack or break, but they don't get "worn out". Were the springs removed when the new shocks went in? If so, were they put back correctly (ie. pigtail facing the same way)? If so, you might just be experiencing some softer shocks.

    non-lowering rear springs??

As others have stated, if you just want "fresh" new springs in there, don't bother - keep the ones you have (as long as their not damaged) - they don't really "wear out". If you want to changing the handling characteristics, go with the Mach or Bullitt springs - though there is no guarantee...

    4lug rear discs?

The SSBC kit is a good one. Complete kit with all necessary parts to convert your rear drums to discs. But, others have had success piecing together parts (like jrichker mentions). I have found (in recent discussions and research on this board) that the primary cost savings when putting it...
