    Painting calipers, any tips?

YES! The lazy way, cool, I am not the only really lazy person on the board, I did mine the same way. This way is the easiest as it involves the least work with the wrench. Good luck, and my only suggestion is to get the HIGHEST rated temp paint you can find. Get 1200 degree if you cant...

Flushed my coolant - Now have problem

Thats what I did after my headswap, just leave the cap off, start the car, wait for the light to come on, then have someone start putting in the coolant till the light goes off, repeat for a couple of mins and you are filled up and ready to go. Good luck.

$75 for 1 barrel of crude oil...

My family and I went on vacation this last week and filled up at this out of the way gas station, the pumps only went to 99.99 (were not digital) and my dads suburban took 40 gallons=120 bucks. It was funny watching the pump roll over. But yeah gas prices suck balls right now

    Which amp won't overheat?

My amp use to overheat like a bitch! I took 2 12v computer fans and wired them into the amps remote power source, so when the amp was on, so were the fans. Pointed the fans so the air blew over the amp and it worked perfect. May want to try that first as its a much cheaper alternative to...

Its a duplicolor high temp paint (rated at like 1500 degrees or something...overkill I know but I wasnt repainting that bitch). I spent endless hours prepping it and getting all the oil off of everything then I just put on a coat, dried with a hairdryer and repeated, 3-4 coats on everything...

    IS P.I D.I.Y HARD???

Its really not that hard to do. Just take your time and label all your hardware in ziploc bags. This SAVED me! I had all my seperate hardware in seperate bags with a little note in each bag as to where that set of hardware was suppose to go. It helps a lot when you are putting it all back...

Anyway just wondering how many people actually use it on a regular basis to keep in touch with people. I thought it would be kinda cool to add some stangnet posse to myspace... I dont know...

What hardware do I need for PI swap?

Don't forget the timing cover gaskets (there are three seperate ones) and also if you have never replaced the exhaust gasket between the manifold and the midpipe on the passenger side then you may want to get a new one of those as well. Get a new thermostat while everything is apart, just to be...

    Intake manifold install, How hard?

Its not that hard at all, just take it apart slow so you know how to get it all back together. You will need a good set of metrics (mainly 8-13 mm) and a fuel disconnect tool. It will take you less than 6 hours, even if you are doing it alone, and have to make a beer run.

    Dipstick tube problems

Dont feel stupid, the dipstick is a real pain in the ass. I installed mine while installing the manifold/heads and it was still a pain. I bent my tube slightly to make it fit between two of the pipes in the manifold. It was a pain and now its hard to pull the dipstick out, but its what I had...
