    i actually prefer that harness b/c it used rca outputs (low voltage) versus speaker outputs (high voltage). if it was my car, i would have bypassed the amp and either installed a new amp or ran off of the head unit's amp.

    you know what... I checked some other wiring diagrams for ford vehicles and they are all the same. It is hard to say without seeing the wires in front of me. As long as you are certain that you have these SPEAKER wires, you could use a 9v battery to confirm which side is which and then hook...

    "Frugal"(cheap) audiophiles...I have some questions.

    you need an "infinite baffle" sub. which will work well in an open air environment. i wouldn't mess with putting the subs in the doors, unless you want to "deaden" the doors heavily (more money).

    you cut 1/2 of the strands off of the wire? not a very good idea. I would have soldered the wire before doing that. you have reduced your wire gage and ability to carry current directly at the source... :nono:

    it is hard to identify which plug goes where with out truly being there with the head unit. looks like you have- head unit plugs amp plugs cd player plugs i am pretty sure 11 and 12 would go from head unit to cd player 8 and 9 are grounds for head unit and cd player tape that wire on #7...
