That's cunfusing as hell man. I've always wondered how to powershift and people have said different ways. It would take alot of practice. I've tryed it before and it felt like my clutch was slipping.
I used a set of Hooker Maxflows for over a year before going to a Magnapack Catback and I loved them. In fact I still have them and would be willing to sell them to you. They are offset inlet, outlet 2.25 diameter which is the size you will need. They are straight through design and not...
Congratulations on your first time down the 1320. It is a load of fun. I'm jealous because our local track is closed for the season. It just takes a combination of launching, and shifting at the right rpm's. Are you leaving the line at idle or at a certain rpm. And what rpm are you shifting...
A chip is not needed with LT's. I've read people running lean sometimes with the addition of LT's but that's on a once in a while individual basis. A chip is very beneficial once you've done all of your mods on the intake and exhaust and looking to tie it all together and get every bit of...
Magnapacks are bad#*!. They are louder with an H-pipe. Actually everyone said that they are loud but when I got mine coupled with BBK LT's, and modified Bassani X they weren't that loud. And even with the H it's not obnoxius. But when I heard my wife drive off with the car one day I was like...
Mcleod twin or Spec stage 3. I need a clutch that will handle at least 550+hp and trq and be streetable. Who has the best prices on both of these including an aluminum flywheel. Thanks.

Generally an H-pipe will give you more of a deep bassy exhaust note or sound more muscle car like. Also the H-pipe favors low end torque. The X pipe sounds more exotic or raspy as some say. The bbk and bassani X sound raspy IMO. A dr.gas X-pipe has an H-pipe tone to...
How do you like it. It's pretty notchy at first but once it breaks in it will be pretty smooth. It's a definite improvement over the stock stick. Some people don't like the short handle but it suits me fine because I have long arms.
As said earlier the breathing capabilities of a 99+ GT is better due to the technology. And again it's Ford so who knows. The same reason their are v-6's making more hp then most v-8's who knows
That's great that you figured it out. What a stupid mistake by the salesman. I've been leaning towards the 3.90's for some time and I think that I will take the plunge and buy them in next two months. The 3.73 v/s 4.10 debate is sickening so I'm going straight for the middle with the 3.90's...
I have a Pro 5.0 for the 3650 and it's wonderful. It's a little notchy at first, but once it breaks in it's pretty smooth. Great for bangin gears. With the stock shifter ball it's as qiuet as the stock shifter, but with any aluminum shifter ball you will get the dreaded vibration.
Installed a 180 T-Stat before I left for work. The temp. gauge showed half of what it usually does on the way to work. With the 195 T-Stat the temp guage went halfway. That's great and the heater was as hot as always. Is there any adverse affects from running a 180 T-Stat.
I love the way magnapacks sound. If you want loud go with Lt's, o/h H, and any muffler of your choice. Magnapacks, Borla XR-1's. I'm partial to the straight through mufflers because of the slight hp/trq advantage. Every little bit of hp/trq helps.
