    Probably because it was plugged into where the e-brake goes.. I didn't take my e-brake off when I did my t-5 swap, that's why I don't remember seeing an extra plug... makoto you should pull the e-brake and see if the light on the dash lights up. If so then the plug isn't to the e-brake..

    AOD to T5 swap, difficult?

    I did it.. The pedals are a pain in the butt, though it is possible lol. I also had problems getting my AOD out, I had to cut it out with a torch. I burnt the tranny and it locked up so I couldn't turn the engine over to get the torque converter disconnected. You shouldn't have that problem...

    The door, light, and seatbelt chime box is under the steering column... Mine went crazy and wouldn't stop beeping ever so I ripped it out. It did the same in my F-150 too... Just saying.. I thought the plug your looking at went to the e-brake too..

    Your pretty far from 260 to the wheels... Most basic H/C/I combo's like Edelbrocks and Holley's put those number to the wheels. Your actually pretty close, if not at, or beyond 260 at the flywheel though... With a good launch you could get better e.t.'s, if you didn't experience traction issuses...

    The upper only will work... Some lowers won't work on certain year EFI 5.0's without modifaction. You'll be alright with any gt-40/cobra/explorer though assuming you route the vaccum right.

    With a quality set of UCA's and LCA's you should be able to ditch the quads without problems.
