K&N FIPK or K&N drop-in filter??????
Thanks for the replies. I had done a search but it came up inconclusive at best since so many people are on different sides of the fence. I did not consider the MAC kit since it's metal which can rust and conduct heat. I bought a drop-in K&N but it is still unopened in the box and didn't...- P. Henry

K&N FIPK or K&N drop-in filter??????
Newbie here and I just bought a bone stock 22,000 mile 1999 GT convertible. My question is do I buy the FIPK kit or just the K&N drop-in filter? I will do minor mods to the car including exhaust, headers, and suspension but nothing major in the way of a cam or blower. Just need to know...- P. Henry
