Now THIS is Sweet! (finally got it home) white/gold

Thanks! Yours looks completely different, and very tuff indeed! Are you doing the decals yourself? If so, be thankful you had the stripes painted :bang: ... it's :bs:

Now THIS is Sweet! (finally got it home) white/gold

If a white cobra can have gold stripes, than I guess a black one can have blue stripes eh? :D

    78 Mach 1 Spoiler

I'd still feel comfortable with only two of the four studs, as long as they are not on the same side. I've seen them with just the ends screwed down, but that's not too wise.

    Decal Install

The ones from graphic express are great quality, just like factory. It would be a lot easier to paint the lemans stripe, but factory is a decal. As far as the clear, it could probably work, but I'm sure if you call GE they'll tell you what their line of reasoning is.

    78 Mach 1 Spoiler

Same size. No need to appologize, that's what the forum is for. Could have had a spoiler on before, particularly if the hatch panel was from a junk yard. If it did, installing another will be a lot easier.

    78 Mach 1 Spoiler

I don't think very many non-cobra hatchbacks came with a factory rear spoiler (or front for that matter) unless ordered specifically with one. If they had one though, it's 3 pieces. One across the hatch, and two ends bolted to the quarters. Those pictures in the links, btw, are all of the...

Who wan'ts to see some pics of a really hott chick on my car!!!

78mach1, judging by your avatar, I think me and you need to switch locations during football season, although I agree with the kid's feelings about the Packers helmet :rlaugh:

Who wan'ts to see some pics of a really hott chick on my car!!!

I can't think of a much better picture, than an Eagles cheerleader posing with a Cobra, but the kid sort of ruined it

    question about front valance?

You have the right setup. There is no difference in the shape of the valance from a Cobra and any other II, just cutouts on the ends which don't affect chin spoiler installation. The fiberglass may not fit 100% perfect, but should be fine. It will be a bit snug on the ends that bolt to the...

    picture in this EGAY!

I wonder if it's still in the ship yard, there may be some parts off it I need :rlaugh:

Does anyone know what kind of spoiler this is?

That is pretty tacky IMO. You'll notice it doesn't exactly fit right due to the lack of even support. The way it's turned up un the center leads me to believe it's actually the original style flimsy plastic, but this could actually work with the fiberglass aftermarket one. The rear spoiler...

    800 orig mile King Cobra

That's because it was a reserve auction, and nobody was getting that car for less than $15,000. Otherwise, it would have sold for $11,000.

Rolling Stones Magazine: Driving forces: Celebrating 40 years of turning heads

From the sound of it, we should actually be glad for the snub this time. I mean think about it, if they had mentioned the II's, they'd probably associate them with either KC & the Sunshine band, Village People, Barry Manilow, the BeeGees, or ABBA!!! Recognition is always nice, but at what...
