Not road racing:Is Global West overkill?

These questions / answers are SO predictable.... Everybody who does NOT have Global West will tell you they're overkill... :notnice: Everybody who DOES have them will tell you they're worth it... :nice: My last car had them. My next one will too....

In 2bav8's shelby drop alignment specs...

Actually, with modern street radial tires, 1/2* negative is what you want for best tire wear and all around street manners. For corner carving, you'll want even more (like 1 or 2 degrees) negative camber. Running positive camber will KILL the outside edge of the tires. :notnice:

In 2bav8's shelby drop alignment specs...

Camber sould be NEGATIVE 1/2 degree, not positive! :nono: Caster is positive 2 to 3 degrees. Toe is 1/8" toe-in.

    Roush Rear Disk Brakes - 95 S351R

Sorry, but the rear rotor in that picture is a drilled and slotted solid rotor, not a VENTED rotor. There seems to be a misconception of what a vented rotor is. this is a vented disc rotor: This is a cross-drilled, slotted, solid (non-vented) rotor like the Eradispeed kit uses: The solid...

    Roush Rear Disk Brakes - 95 S351R

Here's a link to the Eradispeed Plus kit that shows the rotors pretty well: http://www.speedconcepts.net/product_info.php?products_id=694 You'll note that they are slotted/drilled, but not vented. If I'm missing something here, or there's another Baer kit out there, please edjumicate me! :)

    Roush Rear Disk Brakes - 95 S351R

No problem - I should have probably clarified the above post anyway... I was speaking of the Eradispeed Plus 13" rear upgrade, as it's closest in cost to the Ford Cobra 12" upgrade (which can be bought as cheap as $175). I think the Cobra setup is tough to beat for the money. Baer offers a...

    Roush Rear Disk Brakes - 95 S351R

Be advised that the Baer 13" rear rotors are solid - not vented. May not matter on the first stop, but I could see that being a problem with repeated hi-speed use. The 12" Cobra rears are vented...

Roush Anyone Ever have a 99-04 Saleen Wheel Crack???

    Will my rear tires fit????

Agree, 225's will probably fit. 235/60/15's are definitely questionable, and will probably require fender lip rolling........ Even then, you're looking at 235/60's not the 235/70's - those will be too tall.

    Roush 99-04 Saleen Wheel Question?

The fronts are +25mm offset, and the rear 18x9's are 12mm offset. Just for reference, the 18x10's are +30mm offset.

    Roush What car looks Better??

My first choice would've been a Fox-body - have always loved the simplistic look / nature of the car... :nice: However, when I was in the market, the wife and daughters all 3 really pushed for the 99-04 styling. A non-carnut co-worker even referred to it as "sex on wheels". :hail2: That's all...

where to get aftermarket pedal covers that fit?

I just used late-model pedal covers from UPR - $40 including the dead pedal. You trim about 1/8" off each side of the early brake/clutch pedals and they fit perfect. :nice:
