    intake compatibility

    Mine cracked last summer and it was covered on warrenty by Ford. That could have expired by now since it's a year later, but you might want to at least look into it. Might save you some cash.

    I don't see why the dealer wouldn't let you buy it, you'd most likely need a co-signer though since you have no credit. But I think it is a bad idea. If I had my 97 back when I was 16 I would be dead. Kind of like if i had a '03 Cobra right now! But that is just me, you may be more responsible.

    I get what you mean, but it's not like the motor is being supercharged or anything. I'd hope that a cast iron block that is only a few years old could handle new heads! If not, well... it would suck, that's all I can say.

    I had a Bassani Catted X-pipe for a few weeks before the MIL turned on. I said screw it and just got offroad pipes. But even those high-flow catted X-pipes will trigger the MIL.
