    I have manual brakes, the SSBC 11" slotted rotor kit on the front and stock drums in the back, 225/15/60s all around. I've practiced threshold breaking in the car (gotta make sure the brakes work :D ) and I don't have any problems maxing the available traction on the tires. My only complaint...

    Also consider that a 35yro car may very well be a tad... tempermental at times. I drove my '68 on my daily commute for the first three years I owned it. I've never had anything major break, but small stuff tends to go out on a fairly regular basis if you're putting that many miles on an old...

    Your best bet on a budget would probably be a Granada swap. Check out the links in this thread for lots of pages describing various brake installs.

    TCP does, I know because I have the whole coilover setup, including strut rods, on my '68. Can you buy TCP hardware at this point though? I know they went under then got bought out and all kinds of weird stuff is going on now.

    Upgrade to pony interior

    I'll be ordering new foam anyway so that's not a problem. Any ideas on where I can get a diagram showing this extra rod in the pony frame? I'm not seeing it in my shop manual or Chilton's. Is the difference even noticable when the upholstery is on?

    My mom's '66 vert needs to have the interior completely redone. I figure while I'm at it she might as well get an upgrade to a pony interior, but from what I've picked up from parts catalogs it seems the pony interior won't install on regular seats. According to the Sacramento Mustang site...
