    not sure, it pulled steadily to 115, once I hit 115 I was afraid to gas it any more because I was close to my redline. I was on the turnpike so time wasnt really an issue

    I can't recall where I got my info from, but the Honda had 140 horses... maybe it's innacurate but I've driven a stang that could smoke V8's (this one was a six) and I've driven an RSX type S (which was pretty damn fast if I do say so myself) and this Honda is pretty quick as well in comparison...

    i only call people ricers when they take their car over the line. you can own a domestic and still be a ricer. there is a few ricer mustangs around my areas. big wings, tacky graphics, tipped mufflers, and risdiculously bright paintjobs are all ricer and should be kept away from all cars.

    Emergency Brake Light in the Dash

    The emergency brake light was coming on and off what seemed to be in random patterns yesterday. Today, it won't turn off. Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? My car is an '88 N/A. I haven't played with the handbrake at all until the light started coming on. Please help!

    If you don't have to replace it (like if you live in South Florida, like me) don't. Just bypass it. From everything I've heard, the job will take you an entire day at the least. If you do need to do it, I'd say go by haynes. If you don't trust Haynes, get a Chilton's, those are sometimes easier...

    does an 89 2.3l auto have a rev limiter?

    Mine's an 88 and I can get it over 5k in park. I'm not sure if the 89 is different, but I have no problem getting it over 5k.

    I have a buddy that can drift on straights....he can get the car pretty close to sideways. of course, its not as fun as curves or corners.

    I have no stickers on my car and I do slide around corners. It does waste tires faster but I figure as long as I pay for them, I'm allowed to waste them. As long as I have money to buy more...it's ok because I don't have to worry about riding on bald tires.
