I just installed a new vacuum line from the intake to the trans and now I do not have reverse. Dose this line have anything to do with reverse. The trans shifts into gear perfectly for everything except reverse.

Boss 302 stripes on a 66 fastback? am I crazy? any one with some photoshop skills?

have you thought about california special stripes. They are fairly simple and would break up the car nicely. I was thinking about doing a red c/s stripe on my 65 but it looks so good black I am going to leave it for now. I thing a shade lighter grey/silver c/s stripe or even black would look...

    65 header question

tri-ys are the easiest and cheapest option and the fit is usually pretty good. you just have to watch the quality of the ones you get because there are a zillion places that make them. I'm on my 3rd set. (the first 2 sets were cracked from motor mounts ripping in half). what ever headers you...

Anyone using header wrap insulation tape?

I agree with the crowd. My headers only lasted 18 months with heat wrap. It did lower the under hood temp but not worth the frustration and cost of new headers. I would get ceramic coated or a bad ass radiator instead. you will spend more up front but less in the long run.

Price check on a 65 fastback

I would have to agree with john. People are getting crazy with prices and someone is willing to pay for it. An owner of a body shop I went to today sold a rednecked 66 vert with a glued on hood scoop and a ripped up top for 20k in 2 days. (it does have a blower on it but its still not worth 20k)

    The SN65 project car

65 with cobra wheels found some pics of a 65 with 03 cobra style wheels. I think they look a little too big for a coupe but they may look ok on the sn65 project because of the flairs, ride hight and countless other mods. this car was on sale at hemmings...
