    Smells like something is burning!

I had that problem a few weeks ago. It turns out that I ran over a piece of thin styrofoam packing material on the road and it rapped around my exhaust and instantly melted to it. So it didn't look like anything was on it, but those melted chemicals were stuck to it and it must of been a month...

    2001 GT vs. 2004 nissan 350z

Since I own both here is my unbiased opinion. I didn't have it when my stang was stock, so I don't have any back to back runs both stock. But the Z has an outrageously steep rear gear and transmission gearing. I guess it's equal to about a 4.10 in the stang. 6th gear in my Z is the same as...

    MAF problem

It might not be the maf because the motor has to be under load to draw enough air through to really measure, so you would have to probe the maf and have wires long enough to bring the voltmeter inside the car and read it while you were driving, or buy an obd-II scanner that gives live data...

    bov??? still dont get it

Well it's not quite that simple, you will need re-tuned. And blow-thru systems are notorious for bad idle problems. the draw-thru system is really better for everyday driveability. That's not to say that there aren't people out there doing it and not having problems, but it's much harder to...

    bov??? still dont get it

You can vent to atmosphere with a maf as long as it is a blow thru setup and you put the bov before the maf. Any setup that has the maf before the supercharger, you have to vent back into the intake tube. procharger uses, or atleast used to use a setup where the maf is after the supercharger...

    Electrical Problems

Definitaly find a new ground, and be very careful that your are not overheating your wiring now. If your are introducing alot of resistance into the wiring, heat is the end result.

    spark plugs too tight

that's BS, Unless the plugs are not the correct heat range. It doesn't matter what brand of plugs you use as long as they are the correct thread and same heat range. They can't void your warranty because you bought a different kind of plug other than motorcraft.

    Tire POLL

I've got the BFG G-Force KDW on mine in 265/35zr18. They are awesome tires. The traction is unbelievable and I am supercharged. I went from kuhmo's to these and my jaw hit the floor the first time I drove it after the swap. The have excellent handling characteristics and pretty good off the...

    First dyno in 03' Cobra

That's what I'm sayin'. Great Numbers, but your a/f is down to like 10:1 at 5500 rpm. You could probably gain a ton more power than that just by leaning it out on the topend some.

    F.A.S.T (Speed-Pro) ?

I hear it's a pretty good system, but your gonna need alot more than some good tuning to get 350rwhp out of a NA 2V even if it has headwork, cams and exhaust. To get that much out of a 2V without using Forced Induction, your gonna need a new bottom end and alot more compression, which means...

ok...narrowed down the rpm drop problem

What helped mine the most was adjusting the screw on the throttle body up a little. It has just about completely cured my stalling and low bouncing idle completely. I have been adjusting on it for a couple months now and finally got it perfect a couple of days ago. If It's adjusted too low...

ok...narrowed down the rpm drop problem

I have a 5 speed and mine does something very similar especially when it's first been started and hasn't been warmed up all the way, but it does it after it's been warmed up sometimes. When I'm coming to a stop and I am on the brakes good or trying to stop while going down a hill, i.e. giving...

PISSED about c/c plate install and bad noise afterwards!!!

I have the pro3i's and mine clunk like crazy, I have tightened everything up a million times and beleive me it's tight. It's just the metal spherical bearings, they are loud. You just replaced 4 inches of rubber with a piece of metal, it's gonna be louder and your going to hear all that...

Very Importand Question About 03 Cobra Fuel Pump!!!!!!

You have to drop the tank to put it in. The hardest part is getting that stupid filler neck to pull loose out of the huge rubber grommet. you have to drop it down a little and then just pull the crap out of it until it comes loose. You'll need a jack and an extra set of hands, but besides...

fuel pressure gauge and air/fuel gauge install?s

Make sure you get some of the gas resistant teflon tape, it comes in the yellow container, not the blue. You won't have a major leak if you don't, but mine did gradually seep out around the fittings without it.
