    3.93's? You will notice the posi even more with the gears. better to spin both tire than just one. And even a bigger kick when the t-5 goes in. 2.75's are good for salt flat race cars not street cars.

    3.89's will work great all around with your planned engine combo and t-5 swap. And for sure a posi, best to get the stronger four pin posi for the best traction.

    goin to a stock lookin four barrel setup wont give you the fun you deserve. Go with a performer rpm/ sealth manifold, 280 comp cam and lifters and a holley 600-650 mechanical carb. headers will help but for sure good mufflers and 2.5 inch pipes

    with the comp cam and afr's go with the 3.70-3.89 and a looser converter for street driving. 4.11's and converter for more street strip.

    sounds like timing or ignition, unless you pulled a few rocker arm studs but that usaully makes some noise. Compression test first. 13/16 spark plug socket to remove all the plugs.

    5.4l heads on 4.6l

    lightning heads are a windsor PI head. they are the same as the 99-00 mustang gt heads and will fit the 4.6 blocks and PI intakes, certain parts will need to be changed if you are starting with a romeo 4.6. Best 2V head casting out right now is the 04 romeo PI head.

    if you have the cash for a supercharger/gears and want to go to the track then you should have no problem buying a pair of slicks to fix your traction problems. why would you add 100-200 more HP just to bog it down with 3.55 or 3.73's. gears dont help traction, tires help traction.

    Im sure if you replaced your setup wth a 3 inch prochamber and mufflers you will get the sound you want but will hurt performance. Or maybe remove the tail pipes and go with turn down tips off the mufflers, will make the car sound louder on the inside but not really make much a difference on the...
