    What fluid in a T5Z?

I run regular ATF in my T5Z and it shifts flawlessly.

    T-5 or tremec?

It's good to hear they're not that difficult to assemble. I've been reading the Tremec rebuild instructions as I acquired a "maybe it's good" WC unit from a friend for a case of beer and have been thinking of rebuilding it and swapping the notch over to stick.

    Weird Blinker problem

Try swapping the flasher unit? My signals were acting weird and erratic and it resolved my problem on the '88.

Is this a lot of timing chain play?

If those are nylon teeth on the cam gear i'd definetely change it.

    Project 81 Hack Job!!!!!

I think they have great potential on a dark colored car but after all the work you've done to apply such bright paint, black wheels provide too stark a contrast. I agree that they're likely the best pic of the available S197 wheels in a 17" as most of the other wheels I think would look badass...

    Project 81 Hack Job!!!!!

I've seen the black S197 Bullitt wheel in person and didn't really think much of it. However on a fox that is a different story as I find a 17" on the S197 looks really small to me which is likely why I didn't like it. It certainly didn't have the impact the NE Bullitt wheel did when I first...

    New 18s on the coupe!!!

I'm not usually a fan of aftermarket wheels but those really work for me on that car!

    Project 81 Hack Job!!!!!

So close! It's always hard to finish up the little things near the end of a project, stay focused, take your time and give us pics! My 5-lug swap is stalemate at the moment due to weather so i'm loving the pics of Hackjob right now!

    Hookin you up.

I used it at work til it was blocked. Great idea as it learns your likes and dislikes and introduced me to some great new bands!

    5.0 vs. RS Camaro

^Interesting to read someone's POV who has had both for years.

    5.0 vs. RS Camaro

Yeah personally the Camaro never did anything for me either. Looks nor behind the wheel experience.

    Tranny troubles.

I purchased the MM one which is claimed to be as close as possible to the OEM piece. The Ford Racing piece is also a good choice and subsequently cheaper.

Loose front end, help me diagnose

Sounds like the bearings as well as strut to spindle bolts may be loose. Further dissasembly and inspection should yield the culprit. GL!

Can a man have 3 Cobras?

I'd just get #1, seems like the logical thing to do. I like having some savings to fall back on but ultimately it's up to you. If you'd like to fix one up and will be OK with selling it then that's a viable option too.

    5.0 vs. RS Camaro

My cousin STILL has his '89 Trans Am GTA with the 350 TPI and auto. T-roof as well. He's owned it since '91 and has repainted it and is on his 2nd engine(Edelbrock "hi-flo" top end and GM ZZ4 shortblock), it still looks great, drives great because he's never abused it. You just don't see them...

    Return of the 5.0 Mustang

I hope for return of an "lx style" base model with the hi-po engine available. If a 5.0 comes back great but i'd like to see a no frills Mustang available again.

Striped interior, Help close up holes

Sound deadener wont' keep mice/bugs/water out of your cabin. Unless this is a strip only car that will spend it's time inside i'd spend the time now to fix up the holes once and be done with it. You'll be kicking yourself later when dust and mice have found their way into your car. POR-15 is...

    Repro Headliners??

Has anyone used a fabric style headline for a factory sunroof car?

Striped interior, Help close up holes

+1 For the shifter do you have access to a JY? Purchasing a replacement lower boot is likely the best solution. EDIT: I saw your other post that this was a 4cyl conversion car. It's not easy cleaning up after someone else's build. GL with your new project car.
