    5 lug drum-anyone know size or part #

    I purchased a set for a '90 Aerostar with 9" drum brakes. I believe ALL years Ranger drums with the 7.5" rear end work. Bring in your old 4-lug drum with you if you're nervous about this purchase to compare.

    crossmember -AUTO SAME AS MANUAL?

    I helped a friend do the same as described above. The 4cyl crossmember will only have "one hump" for the single exhaust to clear. You need a "double hump" V8 crossmember so just do as described above and reuse your original.

    +1 on the grey dash. Great looking work, looks like most of the panels can be touched up and cleaned save for the rear driver 1/4 window/hatch piece which will need to be replaced or repaired.

    My '89 Hatch had the usual hacked in stereo and completely rusted solid actuators so you couldn't even lock the doors anymore. Stained seats etc. It was in the usual condition you see them after a few years of owner neglect. I was lucky with my notch though and got it from the original owner...

    I personally don't like them. I think the way the paint "pops" you need a high finish wheel. I really like the new black Bullitt S197 wheels but i'm not sure how such a dark wheel color would fit when the paint is so bright. I really like the "fanblade" S197 wheels in chrome as well but...

    Yeah they're hard to beat for the price and I personally find they sit noise level wise right where I want them to. I'd definitely go with them again.

    I have an o/r H with the same mufflers and stock tailpipes and it's great around town but nice and audible when I open it up.

    I'm working on the 5-lug conversion for my brother's 83 Hatch so I haven't had much of a chance to do much on mine. Had time to put the new rad in with hoses and check it for leaks then park it out front. Keep your chin up WOODYY24 you'll enjoy it more once it's done!

    This is an incredible build and an overwhelming amount of work! I remember stumbling across the first "Hackjob" posts and have been looking forward to them since! I'd definetely do a OHC motor of some sort in my notch when my motor goes kaput. GL on the last few stages!
