    i think "rat rod black" only works well on certain vehicles.......lead sled's are my favorite... i had my car rat rod black as a temporary color while awaiting final paint, because it looked better than the multi-color paint/primer/rust scheme that it was.......

    don't know about a 69,,,,,what part are you trying to disassemble??? on my 73, i had to use a dead blow sliding hammer to remove the lower end, it is splined into the upper unit.........:shrug:

    well, i know how to replace the lower shaft..............:nice: the only problem i have with my column is that it has some up/down play in the tilt mechanism.........but it doesn't seem to affect turning......... please keep us posted......

    64 to 73 reverse eye lowering rear leafsprings

    i have a set of almost new lowering rear leaf springs that should fit all year mustangs. they are in perfect condition, except one of the mounting brackets got bent while they were being removed from the car, i can send pics they have the reverse eye coil that loweres the rear around...

    well then, it must have been the difference between the 72 and my 73......:mad: in order for it to bolt up, i had to remove the splined bottom end from the 72 and re-install the splined bottom end from my 73, it was the only way that i could make the column attach to the steering mechanism...
