    Tail light panel/trunk bracket

Thank you both for your advice. The trunk lid is off, but I will install it again for reference. As far as the metal goes: I took the tail light metal off and one of the trunk brackets just 'popped' off as I was drilling the stock welds off. I was concerned w/lining it up, but you two gave...

To cam or not to cam

That is correct, I am ASSUMING he is using E7's. Stock late model heads, as you pointed out, flow MUCH worse in lower range than E7's, which plays into my point even MORE. So I was giving him the benefit of the doubt.... :D

Manual or auto better for drag racing?

This argument has been going on for SO LONG that IMO you have to define what is an auto and what is a 5spd. Again, IMO, a true 5spd is a tranny you HAVE to push the clutch in to shift gears; no pushing in the clutch, no manual! An auto is a tranny that shifts w/out the driver having to shift...

    Tail light panel/trunk bracket

which should I put on first? My tail light panel is off and I have a new one, but in the process of removing it I have one trunk bracket rotted. I don't know if it matters but it seems to me the panel should be put on first, but  I'm VERY new to body work so ANY help would be...

To cam or not to cam

For your reading pleasure: http://www.tmossporting.com/tabid/330/forumid/42/postid/1684/view/topic/Default.aspx Feel free to peruse thru his pages as he does phenominal work. BTW, the car is local here and has run 12.9's in nearly stock trim PRIOR to the head, cam, intake swap :D .

To cam or not to cam

Stock E7 heads flow like crap, that can't be disputed since the numbers don't lie. Opening up the heads and mill'n them to achieve more CR will do more than a cam swap alone; which is the point I was making. Try as you may, but a bottle neck will always be a bottle neck until you address it...

To cam or not to cam

IMO, if you're using E7 untouched heads you are going to be greatly dissapointed, unless you expect ~10 hp gain and will be happy w/that. If you want the most, mill the heads, have port work done on them, and change the cam. If you're going to spend the money changing the cam you might as...

To cage or not to cage

IMO w/the correct set-up you should be in the 11's easily. That will equate to a cage. If you do decide to cage it buy the swing out kit so you can drive it on the street and not have to climb over the bar to get in/out. I won't stand on the 'safety soapbox', but if you needed the cage you'll...

Changing performer intake and cam too ?

IF you figured out the CR and it's still in the 9's you're fine: the difference between 9.0 and 9.9 CR's not much of a HP loss, ~10hp. If you want the most out of the combo go custom cam w/the RPM intake; Ed Curtis or Buddy Rawls are the top 2 names that come to my mind. I will never go off...

    Rear End upgrade

I had an AOD equiped stang and would go nothing less than 4.10/.11's's, especially if you want pep. IMO 3.55's are nice, but nowhere near what the 4.10's/.11's will give you for 'pep'.

    Manuel valve body

You should be good then. You're not over the power limit and as long as you don't abuse it when you race you'll be good for a while... a long while. When you up the power then it'll be time to worry :D Let us know how you like the VB.

Need Al. Raditor/electric fan combo for 66

One of the best I know of is the direct bolt in from Ron Davis. Here you go: http://www.rondavisradiators.com/radgallery.htm Scroll down to the mustang radiators. I've owned 2 RD alum radiators and can vouch for their quality.

    Manuel valve body

Was it rebuilt w/stock internals? IMO, and looking at your motor specs, you could keep the internals stock and use it until it lets go, then replace the internals. You'll probably be OK and not break anything for a while.

    Manuel valve body

If you use the car on the weekends & for racing only then a full manual valve body is what you want, IMO. The difference between a full manual and non manual is full manual you HAVE to shift to each gear each time you want the tranny to shift (up & down & back to 1 when you take off) and non is...

My buddy painted my last fox body w/valspar paint. It went on good, he had nothing bad to say about it and I would purchase valspar paints again for my 65. Up close in the engine bay: Here is the final product:

Electrical system NOT showing a charge?

You mentioned you have already changed the voltage regulator, are you sure it is installed correctly and everything tightened down? If you want to verify the charging system while the alty is in the car, you can take it to an autozone or checkers. They check it for free. Check all your...

Which long tube header for 351W swap?

But if they work w/out any extra work wouldn't it be worth it? If you have to notch the towers, or fit them multiple times it is a PITA and may be well worth the money to have to drop them in. Remember, sometimes you get what you pay for.
