    a good start would be to make sure all your vacuum lines are connected. i remember i forgot to reinstall the hose on the back of the plenum when i installed my intake.

    mmm i don't know about that. i put slp tips on my stinger cb and it seemed quieter. maybe it was cause the 4" borla tips amplified like crazy. i dunno:shrug:

    it's not too hard to get ported boxes to sound good. you just gotta make sure you know what dimensions and port lengths to use. i used to have a 12" type r in a 2.5cu box@33hz. it barely fit in my trunk. it was way too loud for me. i sold it and got two 10" kickers instead:D

    x2 i went up to speedworld saturday and ran a 14.2 with 275/50/15 nitto dr's so don't feel bad. i think the stock gears are what's messing with me. i either bog or spin when i try to launch:notnice: hopefully that'll be fixed once i get my 4.10's

    the heads on the '04 machs were upgraded weren't they? the spark plug threads were like 4 threads in '03 and in '04 they went to 8 threads. i remember reading this somewhere. can someone confirm?

    i'm trying to figure out if i should buy some stock 17" wheels for the front to use at the track or if i should just use my 18's. if there isn't much of a wieght difference i'll stick to what i have. i can't go smaller cause of my bullitt brakes:(
