    I would suggest going to Tirerack.com and put in that wheel size. Then when you see what brands are available, click on the "specs" tab for that brand and you can see the sizes. Plus each tire manufacturer usually has a spec page for their tires.

    I noticed this past Winter (cold weather) my car shifted much better into 2nd with the tri-ax installed compared to the previous Winter with the stock shifter. I will say, since installing the tri-ax, any notchiness is basically gone.

    For 17" most run either a 285/40 or a 315/35 being the most popular. Go to Tirerack.com and punch in these sizes to get an idea of whats available. Mine are coming with 315/35 Sumitomo HTRZ's already mounted, which are the cheapest, but most people seem to be fairly pleased with them.

    Having the air/fuel checked would be optimal. I had mine checked shortly after installing the Predator tune and my a/f was slightly rich in the low 12's. I used the Predator and leaned my a/f out about 3% to make it a pretty even 13 straight accross. I also picked up 4hp on the next dyno run.

    I got one at the local auto parts store for under $10 I think. Came with two ends for different sized fuel lines. I believe our cars require a 5/16" spring lock release tool.

    change the fuel filter also, I think that is recommended to do around 30K.

    The fact is that the stock struts/shocks are of poor quality when compard to what is available from the aftermarket. You can keep the stock shocks with any lowering springs but you will most likely experience poor performance which will make you dissapointed with the springs.
