    Draglites / Tire Size Question??

    245/60-15 are the 26x8 , 275/50-15 = 26x10.5 , 275/60-16 = 28x10 the 275/60 are F'N HUGE!!! You dont need them if your not trapping over 126 MPH. I have 275/50's on my car and they look big, but my car is slammed. You could get by with either 245/60's or the 275/50's. :-)

    Very good point. I was actually just thinking how that might look on a red car with A black wing, and Tinted lights all the way around. A buddy of mine has a canary yellow 89 GT, with a black hood, and Black GT wing.. on draglites.. looked really good.

    yea, it was a nice car, but it was just a lease, and the buyout was not worth it. So I bought a cheap car, that I thought I could be happy with, but you see how long that lasted.. Lol..     I have 275/50 -15 mickies.. they are AWESOME!! I have only put about 300 miles on them since the beggining of march. I dont think they are going to last very long, but they DEF hook better than my BFG DR's. BFG's went 11.30's @ 126 w/ 1.72 sixty and these hook a TON harder then the BFG's ever...

    Stock airbox with a K&N. 318 RWHP on motor ... Never had a problem. ;-) And I can name at least 5 other N/A cars here in orlando that run the factory box with a filter. ;-) C

    you probably have 4.10's if you are running out of gear in 4th around 115 mph. i have 3.73's in my car with a 26 inch tall tire.your car def has gear,on motor my car goes 88.60 mph in the 1/8, and I am just shifting into 4th. ;-)

    Tranny guys give some input on this little issue I have

    I always have to use a short 3/8 drive socket, and then two extensionsabout 10 inches worth , and then a 3/8 to 1/4 adapter and my big ratchet. If that doesnt work, You could always just take the top bellhousing bolts off from the top, and then pull the tranny and bellhousing in one peice.

    Yea, if you can afford it, and honestly even if you cant.. Get the TKO. Its going to cost you a bit more, bellhousing, shifter, Drivesahft yolk, all the small parts, but you will not have to buy another tranny...
