    you can keep the stock hood but you'll need to drill into it and use a sealant as well to seal the hood onto your stock unit. You'll just have to be carefull when aligning the holes when you drill.

    I took the honeycomb off and drilled holes in it then I cut open the hood where the V6 insert is on mine that portion was fiberglass so it was pretty easy cut it with a dremel. I then made sure to reseal the scoop with liquid weatherstripping so I don't have the problem with water marks on...
