tranny leak at the drive shaft

There should be some room, the seal should not come into contact with the U joint other than the shaft.

Anyone know how easy anyone can get at our engines?

It's quite simple to stop people from getting your hood open this way. Just pull your latch off...just two bolts(try and mark where it's positioned for alignment purposes) and get a plate of either aluminum or stainless at least 1/8" thick, or thinner if you can secure the bottom(weld/JB...

    Best tuner available..

I have a Tweecer RT and wish I had gotten it sooner. My WOT tune was OK, but the driveability was horrible. I dont have allot of time with it, but it's already made a night and day difference. The 5 different tunes on the fly is one of the best features IMO, you can make small changes and...

    Valve size

Ya, valve sizes aren't the key... Just look at Edelbrocks performer/RPM heads. The only difference is the 1.9 to 2.02 valve. The 2.02 flowed around 5cfm more at certain lift intervals but the 1.9s made more power on the typical HCI car.

    Air check valve pipe removal

Your local Ford dealership should have the plugs you need. They were about 4 bux each I think. They are threaded on the inside as well, to permit accessories as the plugs are used in the front of the head as well. You'll probably need to get allot of cleaner to get the carbon build up out...

    Think I'll need aftermarket rad?

Aluminum will transfer heat better than the cast iron stockers. The FMS is a large two row, just as wide as the older FMS brass three row, which I assume is the reason for the confusion. Be careful with your T-stat selection as the colder you get, the harder your cooling system has to...

Anyone ever run a Blower with 24# injectors? Were talking low boost here btw

I ran 8#s with mine with no problems at all. You'll be fine as long as everything is calibrated/tuned for the setup.

    K Member Brace Install

I did not have cats when I ran the G-load brace, but you could try moving the H-pipe by loosening all 8 bolts, jacking the H-pipe up as much as possible(keeping a good seal) and tighten them back up. Do you have a 2, or 4 pt brace?

    Good piggy back system?

I have the RT and it made a night and day difference with how my car drove, and even sounded. It was not hard to get the major things (CID/Injector size/MAS) programmed which made a huge difference. It used to die usually twice on a cold startup, now I don't even have to touch the throttle...

Will this combo work? Anyone running it?

How much boost do you plan to run? And yes, it seems to be a decently matched combo. Are the heads 0-ringed? Going to run studs throughout?

Anyone ever used a G-Tech pro SS??

I am real happy with the OG G-Tech, the 1/4 mile is accurate to within a few tenths and the new one is supposed to be even more accurate. Mine will measure HP but not give you the curve or shift points. Measures lateral Gs as well as 0-60 and 60 to 0 distance! I probably wont get the new...

    331 power on desktop dyno

I assume the hr at the end of the cam number is for hydrolic roller? If so, it's the lifters you'll need to worry about when revving that high. But you'll want to keep your shift points under, but right around 7k...my stock style lifters work up at that RPM, but not as good as some aftermarket...

    What carb would you run?

I thought the demon carbs were the "new" barry grant carbs? But I have also seen a speed demon 750 on a 408 run well into the 10s on motor, no hesitation or bog at all. I also vote for a 650 speed demon with mechanical secondaries. IMO they are easier to tune.

    Casper Electronics Throttle Enchancer

All it supposedly does is when you are at 60% throttle or above, it tells the ECU that you are at WOT(in the form of WOT voltage). To me, this is not worth the $$$ at all. A properly tuned car shouldn't hesitate at all. No extra power will come out of this either.

    Clutch Issues ?

Sounds like your cluch is gone, or way out of adjustment. If you are screwing it both all the way in and all the way out...it's leaning more towards either your pressure plate or clutch.

    Vibration in Fuel Lines?

Ya, the pump should change with the pressure, but probably not as much as you'd like. What PSI are you running? My bud has a return system smiliar to yours, they don't complain of the noise

    Order of Modifying Stang....

The reason there is no set guide or order on how to modify a stang is the variety of the cars condition(as stated above) and also by personal taste. Some people want to auto cross, so suspension is higher on the priority list. Others want drag, where power would take precedence. This question...

Where to get long bolts for cobra intake+spacer

The hardware store is where I'd go, get the highest grade possible. Just take your current bolts and tell the guy you need the same but 1" longer. I took mine and got some hex heads due to the trick flow R's limited working space
