Who here has driven 100,000 problem free miles on their Stang?

Let me start by knocking on wood. I lived down a 2-3 mile really bumpy road when I bought my 2000GT and had to have the back shocks replaced at just over 30K. The clutch had begun to chatter a tiny bit so the dealer swapped in a new clutch, flywheel, etc. while it was in fixing the shocks...

short trow shifter Q? need your imput.....

I've got just over 110K miles on my T45 with a Steeda TriAx and like it just fine. Handle adjusts to two different heights, I personally like the taller position. I'm waiting on a Hurst SST with chrome stick to come in right now, I like the look of the chrome stick better and just wanted to...

    You will love this story!

Don't fool yourself, you can get a ticket for anything, anytime, anywhere. Now getting a judge to say you have to pay it may be a different thing, but you can always be written the ticket.

    Bullitt intake

For the little gains you get with any aftermarket model on a N/A car, you're better off with the stock intake IMHO.

    5.6 liter v8

Since we're being pedantic, they're actually both 4.9L. :) You gotta love that Ford math, but I must admit the 4.9 badges wouldn't have looked near as cool as the 5.0 does. "What, Chevy calls their 350 a 5.7, well then our 351 is a 5.8". :D

Just playing devil's advocate but, could you bore/stroke a 5.4 out to 5.6?

    HOLY gas mileage batman

Well, minus the blower, I achieve it by driving 60 miles a day, five days a week on the highway at 75-85. I do very little city driving and I usually fill up around 320 miles with a gallon or more still in the tank.

    bleeding brakes

It's just an easy way to avoid sucking air back into the brake system without having to worry about the end of the drain tube being submersed in brake fluid. If you pump them 4-5 times and hold it the last time then open the bleeder, let the pedal go to the floor and close it back there's no...
