    Clutch issue

    Get up under there and look really good , The stock quadrant is plastic and you may have broken it . The stock quadrant use small teeth that mesh together with the adjuster , over time they get brittle and can break . I think an after market quadrant is your best bet .

    The hole is necessary for the EGR to function properly . If you plan on bipassing your EGR system then it wont be an issue . If you want to run your EGR you will need to get a new upper . Explorers used an external EGR system .

    I have the FR tall valve covers and had to use a 1" spacer and modify the bracket that holds the throttle cover in place .

    I have a general engine question . on a carberated motor , what would cause fuel to only flood 1 cylinder? also on the compression stroke of that cylinder , air and fuel being forced back through intake? :shrug:

    its a good idea to know what kind of temp #'s your actually getting , cant always trust the stock guages . I'm not sure if your have an aftermarket guage . I dont so I went to autozone , bought a real cheap one and just hooked it up temporarily by screwing in to the top of the thermostat...
