    Bumpy/klunky noise from front suspension

Not sure it this helps but it has been said that the upper strut mounts are a one time use deal and if you replace the struts you should also replace the strut mounts. Another thing I noticed on some other cars is that some car makers have sound deadening material applied to the strut...

Full Roush Suspension Kit - Panhard Bar?

Hey Walter, tell me your thoughts on the Watts link (which one do you have) as far as cost, ease of installation and bang for the buck. I am considering this myself, I'm not sure if it would be worth the time and money spent for a strictly street driven car. I currently have the full Roush...

    Cigarette smell removal

If you talk to a detailer, he might be able to hook you up with a a fog or bomb type product that you set off in your car with the windows up. after 5 or 10 minute, open the doors and air it out. I think it works at the molecular level, actually killing the bio matter that creates the smell...

    Roush Front Springs Info....

I have the complete Roush system (front and back) and I reused the strut mounts, but having said that, I have heard that the upper strut mounts are a one time installation thing and should be replaced when replacing the struts. Also, I believe there is a TSB to replace the upper strut mounts in...

    Coil on plug kits

I have a set of MSD coils on my car and I can't really say that I noticed that much more power, but it does seem to accelerate much smoother.

Do all 4.6 3V's give that kick at about 35-4000rpm?

For those of you that have removed the Charge Motion Control Valves. Have you noticed much of a loss in low RPM torque. I have been thinking about installing the Steeda Charge Motion Delete Plates, but I am concerned as to how much low end torque and perhaps fuel economy I might loose.

    Rear Emblem Mounting

Submit some pic's if you can when your finished. I was thinking of doing something similar myself. I'm surprised knowone has produced a replacement rear emblem for those of us that would rather not have the key hole exposed as it tends to trap water after a car wash and make a mess of the rear...

    Tackled the Spark Plugs Tonight...

So what happens to all the loose carbon pieces (that were between the extended tip and cylinder head) and penatrating fluid that soaks in around the spark plug. Does it drop in the cylinder when the plug is taken out. Yikes, that can't be good.

Help me get this done ...

Don't mean to take this thread in a different direction, but is there any advantage to turning off the rear o2 sensors if there has been no exhaust mods other than perhaps axle back mufflers?

Help me get this done ...

Trust us, get the tuner (progammer) it is absolutely the best bang for the buck, even if you are not after much more power. It is a very usefull tool if you ever decide to add a CAI, change you rear gearing, adjust your speedo for different size tires, read and clear check engine errors, the...

    HID Flicker with stereo

Go to a audio installer and have them set you up with a capacitor. This cap will store energy for your stereo so when that bass hits, the amps will take the extra power they require from the cap instead of drawing down your whole electrical system.

    3V Spark plug change hell

Is there a fuel additive available that could be used in a maintance capacity to keep the stock plugs clean so they are efficient for a longer period of time.

    3V Spark plug change hell

I was thinking of a turbo or s/c, But I guess I'll just wait. I have no intention on paying a ton of money to have the spark plugs replaced on top of a power adder install. If you look at this as the glass half full, ford just saved me 6 grand. I agree with tr7driver, I'll wait until the plugs...

    Paint Chips

I had the same problem with my dealer on a older mustang (92). The paint was chipping off, but the dealer said "rock chips will do that". So I took it to the car wash (wand wash) and blew off a whole zip lock baggy of paint. Took it back to the dealer. He had nothing to say other than, "when can...

    bucking when cold

I had this same problem. I'm not sure this will work for you, but cleaning the throttle body seemed to make the bucking problem go away for me.

Annoying "squeaky" sound in the rear

I used WD-40 but I'm sure any kind of spray lube will do if this is the same problem. I mostly noticed the squeaking as I went over speed bumps. I'm sure the WD-40 will wash out after a while But it just takes a couple of seconds to reapply it if the squeak comes back. It's been two months now...

Annoying "squeaky" sound in the rear

I had a similar problem. I sprayed the lower shock mount area and the squeak went away

    Manual transmission rattle when cold

This might be the center stack rattle, which is fixed by put two large hose clamps around the mounting points of the H pipe to trans bracket. There is a TSB out for this fix if this is the problem. When I first got my new stang, I had this very annoying rattle problem and could of swore that it...

    1st gear "jerky"

I had the same problem after installing 4:10 gears and calibrating the speedo. Jerky first gear and somewhat unstable idle. I thought it was a programming issue. but as it turned out all I had to do is clean the throttle body around where the trottle blade seat and all my jerky in first gear and...

    Idle Troubles

I had a similar problem except my car would not stall. So I tried cleaning the thottle body at the area where the throttle blades seat when throttle is closed and found both the throttle body and blades to be extremely dirty with kind of a grimmy, gummy substance (not sure if this is the result...
