    Bad rattle?

Check and see if your panhard bar is hitting your exhaust pipe. It is routed very close to the bar.

    Bassani Exhaust...Resonation?

I also had the dreaded drone. In my car it was mainly under medium to heavy acceleration in fifth gear at hi-way speeds. I placed dyna-mat on the floor under the rear seat. It changed the tone enough to make it pleasurable instead of annoying.

    Door enclosure depth?

I have replaced the head unit with the new Pioneer double din nav unit which is currently wired to the stock amp. When I go to an aftermarket amp, I guess that will be the time I upgrade the speakers. I have read the trend is that people are putting small subs up in the front listening field...

I'm hoping the ducktail spoiler from the GT500 will be a direct bolt on. Only time will tell.

    Door enclosure depth?

When installing the MTX 8" woofers, how did you wire them in. Is there crossovers involved or did you just move the wires from one woofer to the other. On the stock speaker, which factory wire is positive and which is negative. Thanks for the help. CPman

    Door enclosure depth?

I dumb question!! How do you remove the 8" lower speakers. I would like to upgrade, but cannot get factories out. Removed all the screws from around the mounting ring, but I can only pull the speaker about 1" away from the door panel and when I let go, it snaps back?? It must be held from...

    Shifter?

The shifts are very positive and quite frankly it takes some getting used to. Once you get the closer shift pattern mastered you will never go back to the stock shifter. The down side is that it does transmit some tranny noise (more so if you have one of those "NOISY" trannys like me). I found...

Thanks for the info, A new head unit and amps are not far behind. I thought I would start with with the speakers as I can install them myself.I thinking of going with a Kenwood or Eclipse double din nav unit with about a 500watt amp for the main speakers and then perhaps adding a 500watt sub at...

Hi NJFORDTECH: I really value you being on this forum and am hoping you can give me some info from a tech's point of view. In your or your co-workers experiance, what is causing the clunking/rattle in the front end. Would installing spring isolaters cure this problem or is there another cause...

    Shifter?

A little advice: The steeda shifter can be installed with out disconnecting the drive shaft or lowering the trans. Remove old shifter from inside the car, then attach the long arm to the trans. Install the shifter part from the inside of the car and connect the two under the car. It worked for...

    Strut Bearings replaced

Can anyone tell me if the tsb fix for the popping also takes care of that annoying clunking noise in the front end. Is that what the isolator is for?, or is this a seperate issue.
