    The pre Feb 66 mounts are good for 1/2" or so. Drop base with a 2" filter (Use a good hi-flo one) with a large diameter will help too. The K&N filter lid will also help with air flow. Try the drop base first. It may cost more, but changing the mounts is a lot harder. Trust...

    I don't think that is the factory dipstick for the tranny. You may want to grab a stocker out of a salvage yard and go with that. Sorry about the soft lines....just make sure you rout them correctly.

    NOT a header. The back of the passenger HEAD! There is a threaded hole on most, some have an insert with threads. The part of the head that faces the firewall.

    New O ring...push it in and then make sure the tube is attached to the back of the engine on the passenger side head. The tube has a small tab on it.

    I thought that's what I said....windsor...not so good. It's tight with a 351, but it can be done. For more flow put a K&N lid on top if you aren't using an air filter with enough area.

    An RPM air gap for a 302 will fit under a closed hood. You don't even need the early 66 mounts either. Just a drop base air cleaner and you have room left too. Not so good with the windsor.

    Most tunable out of the box. It works great at WOT and the 90% of the time when you are just cruising around. The 650 sounds like the one for your set up. Include the electric choke if you drive it year round.

    Pretty much just the mounting options. Usually the cylinder styles will not cool as effectively as a flat mount.
