    Do you smell burn coolant under the hood? If it drips on the intake or engine, it will burn off. I used to find most leaks by pressurizing the system with a pressure kit.

    South side lift bars while great for traction are pretty much the worst control arm ever made for a foxbody. I ran them for a while, cost me $1100 at a chassis shop to fix the damage and that was over 25 years ago. Zero articulation.

    The carb idea is not great. It will surely be more work, money and headache than finding your problem. As for the heads, you have already done mediocre heads once, now you are going to risk it again on an unknown set? IMO, buy AFRs or Twisted Wedges and never look back.
