    coolant loss...

    A couple years ago, I had the same thing happen, I kept loosing coolant but couldn't findout where, turns out the "weep" or Weap" hole on the water pump was dripping slowly enough that when it hit the block it would evaporate.... I'd check your pump becaue it will let you know when you least...

    I wouldn't do it, plus the x pipes sound much better with straight through mufflers like magnaflow, it sounds a little raspy with the chambered 40s I have both and personally prefer the magnaflow muffler......one man's opinion....oh yeah the magnaflows are a mirrored finish. very nice....

    I did mine with ramps no problem, I know that is still off the ground but they are more secure than most jacks, plus they don't get in the way when you are doing the install

    Weird Hood Problem

    I believe it acts as a spring/tensioner. I think it helps to keep pressure on the latch so it doesn't fly up when you are driving. It also helps pop the hood up when you pull the handle in the car. to help keep constant pressure on mine(without that piece) I simply adjusted the rubber bumpers...

    if it's not that see if the handle is loose and moves when you accelerate. my does it every once and a while....or if I have a pair of sungalsses or something in that cavity...I said cavity....sometimes it's enough to lift it to trigger the sensor
