    Insttalled 3.73's today = WOW !

    Got rid of factory 2.73's today and istalled new clutch packs , and 3.73's. This is the best mod i've done to date. ALL i gotta say is 14's here i come!! :banana: :spot:

    Thanks for the information. I will keep this in mind when building up my own motor. stroker kits are only like $900us , thats a good deal considering you get rods, pistons, crank, and bearings. I'd probably go stroker too since the spinning mass is lighter.

    I got a quick question..... Whats better a stroked 331,347.... OR just a plain old 351w To me it would make more sense to get a 351w then to strock a 302 to a 331 or a 347? More cubes and cost less..

    Problem with T5............

    4th gear is 1/1 ratio , wich means its whole main shaft that turns in fourth , You blew your tranny, definately needs a rebuild. Same thing happend to me 3 times with the t5's they would only drive in fourth and just grind in the other gears, they cant handle too much abuse before they break...

    Im going to be installing a taurus electric fan in my 87 mustang, but with under drive pullies and the factory 70amp alternator isnt just going to cut it. What alternator will bolt right in and be over 100 amps from the junk yard?

    I have the same problem as you.... my drivers rear tire is almost flush with the lip of the fenderwell, My passenger side tire is in about 2 inches. So my car dog tracks a bit. MY Right hand tourque box looks it was ripped right off and welded in there wrong, she's a lil twisted up under there...

    I dont think it will fit. the 5.0L's came with a dual hump crossmember, were as the 4cyl crossmember probably will be only a single hump design. which mean no room for the dual exhaust.
