    newbie with supercharger question

    Power Mods are a 70mm Throttle Body and a K&N factory replacement. 370 - 380 is right on for that set up. I've seen a 9lb with the Kenne Bell MAF and big tube kit put down 395. Too close to the limits of the engine for me. The tune I have is nice and safe.

    I went back and forth between Vortech and KB, obviously went with the KB. This kit is awesome in every aspect, installation, fit and finish, driveability, and just plain fun. The only complaint is KB does exaggerate the power levels. On their website, they quote 400 plus RWHP for the 9lb kit...

    The paint code for TrueBlue is L2. I have never seen or heard of this color with a green tint, only purple.

    I have similar mods minus the x-pipe and put down 373/370 2 weeks ago. Looks good. KB advertises 400/400 out of this kit, but thats on 100 octane gas and a very aggressive tune. Your numbers are spot on. Enjoy!

    I had the 6lb non-intercooled kit, put down 325RWHP/320Rwtq on a crazy humid day. I'm getting tuned on Thursday with the 9lb intercooled. I'll post the results. And yes, that is rear wheel hp.

    HP is overrated on their website. The 9lb intercooled kit is good for about 375RWHP/375RWTQ. You need their big tube kit and mass air meter to get close to the advertised 400 mark. That's another $500.

    6x9's w/ Mach 460

    Has anyone replaced the stock 6x8's in the mach 460 with 6x9's. I know I will have to cut the plastic housing to fit them, I'm curious if it would be worth it. I have a set of Pioneer 4-way 6x9's sitting around. What do you think?

    kenne bell 1.7 question

    I have the 6lb kit. Put down 325rwhp, 305rwtq on a VERY humid day. Quality wise, the kit is awesome, looks factory under the hood. I was a little disappointed in the torque numbers. I put down 290rwtq N/A. At 6lbs the blower is very inefficient. It takes 4lbs of boost just to overcome...

    Mongoose kit or Kenny Bell?

    If you want a track car, go with the Mongoose. If you want a kick a$$ street car, go with the KB. Centri will give you more peak power, but only at high rpm, KB I get into boost all the time. It depends what you want from your stang, better times, or more fun on the street.
