But I have driven one and can say that It WILL, in stock trim, outhandle anything close to its price range, and looks as good or better...

    Yet anohter 05 test drive

    Yet another 05 test drive I have been a lontime viewer, but seldom a poster. But felt this was worth it. Finally had a chance to see and DRIVE my first 05 GT. It was a Torchfire Red one that was just coming off the trailer. I was even able to check the oil and other vitals before the service...

    And this my friends, your excitement at the affordibilty of the new GT is one of the biggest reasons why we do not have an IRS standard. There are plenty of cars that cost more that have IRS, but not many, if any, that look that good, have 300hp and cost under 25,000 :nice:

    I say put in or make an X-pipe, which quiets things down anyway, along with the cats and no muffler should provide livable db at cruising speeds. :D

    GM guy here, thinking of a '05, I don't know though, knowing of ford quality....

    92 fullsize Bronco,302- 220,000 miles, has never left me sitting, doesn't smoke, runs great, have never replaced one item on the motor and I wouldn't hesitate to take across the country. I finally do need to replace my first hard part though, the passenger exhaust manifold is cracked. Too bad...
